West Hancock High School

West Hancock High school serves the communites of Britt and Kanawha in northern Iowa. The Kanawha Bulldogs and the Britt Eagles joined together in 1989 to create the West Hancock Community School District. The two towns joined and created a tradition of sports and extra curricular activity excellence. Students have the opportunity to join any team or group they wish and to explore their interests freely. Today students can participate in all activities from football to student council to large group speech. By promoting well rounded individuality, West Hancock High School activities keep students involved and prepare them for the diverse world that awaits them after graduation.
